Meet Dr. Daniela Avalos (Knoxville, TN)

Daniela Avalos, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from Midwestern University Chicago College of Optometry in 2025. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in Business Administration, from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2021.

Dr. Avalos is an experienced optometrist focused on comprehensive eye care, including astigmatism treatment, cataract surgery co-management, emergency eye care, and eye disease management. She is currently accepting new patients and provides care in both English and Spanish.

Dr. Avalos was inspired to pursue optometry through her own experiences as a patient and her interest in healthcare. She is passionate about helping patients understand their vision and overall eye health, and she values creating a comfortable environment where patients feel heard and cared for. She especially enjoys seeing patients’ reactions when they achieve clear vision or learn about treatment options that can improve their quality of life.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Avalos enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, baking, reading, and walking her dog.
